Short version: two kinds of information pass through my work. Yours, when you ask about a project or hire me, and your customers', inside what I build for you. I use both only to do the work, never sell them, and delete them on a schedule. Updated October 31, 2026.

Who I am

Strauto Solutions is run by Christer Estrada in Edmonton, Alberta. I'm the person responsible for how your information is handled. Questions go to strautosolutions@gmail.com.

What I collect from you

Only what you choose to send me, through the booking form, by email or by message on Instagram. That is usually your name, your email, your phone number if you give it, your business, the task you want help with, how long it takes, the tools you use and when you'd like it running. If we work together, I also keep your quotes, invoices and our messages about the work. Please don't send passwords, or your customers' personal information.

The free call and free check

During the free check you may show me how your week runs, like your call log or a few quotes. I note counts and times, not your customers' names or numbers, and I don't keep copies. I don't record calls unless you agree first.

Why I use it

To reply to you, plan and do the work, bill you and support what I build. I won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing unless you ask for it separately. I never sell your details, and I share them only with the services below, only to do the work.

Where it's stored

The booking form is run by Youform. Your answers are saved in Youform, copied to a Google Sheet I keep, and sent to my Gmail inbox. Emails arrive in Gmail, and messages on Instagram stay in Instagram. Quotes and invoices are kept in the tools I use to run the business, and I'll tell you which ones if you ask. These services may store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where the laws of that country can apply to it.

How long I keep it

If we don't end up working together, I delete your request about 12 months after you send it. A routine checks on the 1st of each month, so it's gone within 13 months at most, and deleted emails leave Gmail's trash within 30 days after that. If we work together, I keep what the work needs while I'm supporting it, and delete the rest within 12 months after we finish. Invoices and payment records are kept for 6 years, as the Canada Revenue Agency requires.

Your customers' information

When I build for your business, your customers' details, like names, phone numbers and messages, may pass through what I set up. That information belongs to your business. I handle it only on your behalf, only to run the service you asked for, and never for my own purposes. If one of your customers contacts me about their information, I pass the request to you.

Workflows and landing page forms run in your own accounts, so your customers' information stays with you. I get only the access a build needs, never ask for your passwords, test with made-up messages first, don't copy your customers' details into my own files, and remove my access when the work ends.

My ready-made CRM is hosted by me, so your customers' information is stored in it. Before setup you get in writing where it's stored, which services it uses and who can see it. When you leave, you get a full export and I delete my copy within 30 days. A CRM done for you has these details set out in its quote.

AI and text messaging services receive only what a step needs, and your quote names each one. Where a service lets me, I turn off its use of your data to train its AI.

Your part: your business is responsible for having your customers' permission to contact them, and for telling them how you use their information. I build in a way to opt out of texts and point out where a workflow needs permission.

Keeping it safe

Only I have access to the accounts that hold your information. I use the least access a job needs and remove it when the work ends. If your information, or your customers', is lost or accessed without permission in a way that could cause harm, I'll tell you and report it as the law requires.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete what I hold about you, or withdraw your consent, at any time. Email strautosolutions@gmail.com and I'll take care of it within 30 days. The only things I keep are records the law requires, like invoices. If you're not happy with how I've handled your information, tell me first. You can also contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta, or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

This website

The site uses no cookies, analytics or trackers. The booking form opens on Youform's own site, which has its own privacy policy. Fonts load from Google Fonts, and the company that hosts the site keeps standard server logs, like IP addresses, to run and protect it.

Changes to this page

When I change this page, I update the date at the top. If a change affects information you've already sent me, I'll tell you first.
