Terms
Plain terms for using this site and working with me. Each project's quote adds the details: price, what's included, payments and timeline. If your quote and these terms differ, your quote wins. Updated October 31, 2026.
Who I am
Strauto Solutions is run by Christer Estrada in Edmonton, Alberta.
This site
This site explains what I build. Examples marked "illustrative" or "test" are made up to show how the work behaves. They are not client results, and nothing here promises a set number of hours saved.
The free call and the free check
Both cost nothing and don't commit you to anything.
Quotes and payment
Before any paid work starts, you get the scope, the price, what's included, when each payment is due and the timeline in writing. Nothing is billed without your written OK to that quote, and anything outside it is quoted first. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and GST is added once I'm registered for it. If an invoice goes unpaid past its due date, I may pause the work or the service after telling you by email. You can always get your data.
My first 3 clients get 30% off setup in exchange for honest feedback. I only share your name, results or words with your written permission.
If you stop a project before it's finished, you pay for the work done up to that point, as set out in your quote.
Your part
You give me the access a build needs, keep your own tool accounts and their bills paid, read drafted messages before approving them, and tell me if something looks wrong. Words, photos and logos you give me must be yours to use.
Landing pages
Your quote sets out the pages, the wording and where the site is hosted. You approve the words and images before launch. Your domain is registered in your name, and once the page is paid in full, its content and design are yours. Changes after launch are covered by the care plan or quoted separately.
Forms and automation
Workflows run in your own accounts, with tools like Google, n8n, Make or Zapier. You keep them, with plain-language notes on how they work, if we stop working together. Outside tools charge their own fees, which you pay to them directly, and your quote lists them.
My ready-made CRM
A monthly subscription. I host and maintain it, the software stays mine, and you can use it while you're subscribed. Your data stays yours. You can export it at any time, and if you leave I send you a full export and delete my copy within 30 days. Before setup you get in writing where your data is stored, how it's backed up and who can see it. I work to keep it running, but I can't promise it will never be down. If it is, I'll tell you and fix it as fast as I can.
It can't be used to send spam, or texts and emails your customers haven't agreed to. I can pause sending that breaks the law or a messaging provider's rules, and I'll tell you why.
A CRM done for you
Built from scratch around how your shop works. Its quote sets out who owns the software, where it runs, how it's supported and what it costs each month, if anything.
The care plan
Each month I check that your workflows are running and sending, make one small change if you want one, check what your outside tools are charging and send you a short written report. Bigger changes are quoted separately.
AI and text messaging
These services charge their own fees, which you pay to them directly, and your quote names each one. AI can get things wrong, so drafted replies wait for your OK, and anything set to send on its own uses wording you approved. A message you approve is sent as your business's message.
Monthly plans
The care plan and the ready-made CRM are billed monthly, with no long contract. Cancel any time by email. Your plan runs to the end of the month you've already paid for, and there's no fee for leaving. When the care plan ends, your workflows keep running in your own accounts, but I stop checking and fixing them unless we agree new work. When the CRM ends, you get your data as set out above. I'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a monthly price changes.
Ownership
What I build for you is yours as set out above, except my ready-made CRM, which stays mine. I can reuse general methods and building blocks in other projects, as long as they don't contain your information or your wording.
Keeping your business private
I keep what I learn about your business private, during the work and after it.
Other tools
Workflows use outside services, such as Google, n8n, Make, Zapier, text messaging and AI services. They have their own terms and fees, and their costs are listed in your quote. These tools change from time to time, and a change on their side can stop a workflow. I fix problems as agreed in your quote, but I can't promise any outside tool will always work.
Messages to your customers
You approve the wording of anything that goes to your customers. You're responsible for having your customers' permission where the law requires it. I build in a way to opt out of texts and point out where a workflow needs permission.
Fixes and limits
If something I built doesn't work the way your quote describes, I fix it at no charge for the period your quote sets out. I take care with everything I build, but I can't promise a workflow will never miss a message. I'm not responsible for lost jobs or income caused by an outside tool failing, or by a message you approved. If I'm found responsible for a problem, the most I owe is what you paid me for the service that caused it.
Ending our work
Either of us can end our work together by email. You pay for work done and for the month you're in, you keep what's yours under these terms, and you get your data. I may end it if invoices go unpaid, or if a service is used in a way that breaks the law.
Changes to these terms
When I change these terms, I update the date at the top. A change doesn't affect a quote you've already approved.
Law and disagreements
If we disagree, we talk first. These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and of Canada, and the courts of Alberta settle anything we can't.
