Strauto Solutions

Get your time back.

Landing pages, forms and automation for HVAC and service businesses in Edmonton. You approve what your customers see.

Shale, the Strauto Solutions mascot, waving in front of a clock whose hands turn back to half past five.

Homegrown in Edmonton, Alberta. Built for HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other trades.

Made for Edmonton's trades.

HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other trades in Edmonton and area. Owners of small crews, one to fifteen people, who miss calls while they are on the job. Quotes and invoices go quiet because nobody has a free hand to chase them.

  • Shale in a hard hat holding a manifold gauge set with low and high pressure dials.

    HVAC

  • Shale hugging a big red pipe wrench beside a copper pipe.

    Plumbing

  • Shale in a hard hat holding a multimeter that reads 12.4 volts.

    Electrical

  • Shale with welding goggles pushed up, holding a torch that throws sparks.

    Welding

  • Shale raising a wrench beside a tire.

    And more

The job ends. The admin doesn't.

A Tuesday in January, give or take. You know this one.

  1. Under a furnace in Mill Woods. The phone rings twice and stops.

  2. The quote you sent last week is still sitting unanswered.

  3. Another call missed up a ladder. That caller tries the next shop.

  4. Kitchen table. Texts to return, quotes to chase, an invoice gone quiet. Your family is in the next room.

That last hour belongs to you. Strauto Solutions is built to hand it back.

Three ways to get time back.

Landing pages

A clear one-page site that says what you do, where you work and how to reach you. Built to load fast on a phone and turn visitors into enquiries.

Shale running happily with the headset on.

Forms and automation

A simple enquiry form, then automation that sorts every request by urgency and job type. Missed-call text-back, quote follow-up and invoice reminders run by themselves, and replies wait for your OK.

A CRM for your shop, coming later

Leads, jobs, the schedule, customers and invoices in one place. A job moves from new lead to paid, and each stage sets up the next step for you. You choose what waits for your OK.

I'm still testing it, so it isn't for sale yet. No shop will rely on it until it's ready. Curious? Ask about it on the free call and I'll show you where it's at.

  1. New lead
  2. Sorted
  3. Quoted
  4. Booked
  5. Invoiced
  6. Paid

A missed call, caught.

Here is one workflow from start to finish. Pick a message from the test run and watch where it lands. The reply waits for you.

Try a message from the test run
  1. The call goes unanswered
  2. A text goes back within a minute
  3. AI sorts it by urgency and job type
  4. A reply is drafted and waits for your OK

Illustrative example, not a client result. If your average repair is C$400 and this catches one extra booked job a month, a C$500 setup is paid back within two months, before texting fees.

Missed call

Sorry we missed your call. This is Example Heating. What can we help with today?Sent automatically

No heat since early morning. A small child is in the home and the house is getting very cold.

Urgent Job type: Repair

Drafted reply, waiting for you

Thanks for telling us. This is a priority. A technician will call you back shortly about the heat.

Illustrative example, not a client result. The message is one of the made-up test messages.

Four steps, one layer at a time.

Like the bands on Shale, it builds in layers. Small first, and only what earns its place.

  1. Free check

We look at how calls, quotes and invoices move through your week today, and measure where the time goes. No cost, no commitment.

  2. Small pilot

One workflow, set up on a small scale, so you can see it work in your business before anything grows.

  3. You approve what goes out

Replies and follow-ups wait for your OK, and you can change any word first. Even the automatic missed-call text uses wording you approved.

  4. Adjust and add more

We tune what you have seen. When it is working the way you want, we add the next workflow.

The test run, in the open.

I wrote 50 HVAC messages the way customers write them, then ran them through the sorting workflow once, on October 6 and 7, 2026. Here is how it did.

  • 12 of 12 real emergencies flagged as urgent. None missed.

  • 43 of 50 job types matched my answer key. Seven missed.

  • 0 of 12 look-alikes wrongly flagged. These shout URGENT about a job that is not.

The messages were written by me for testing. They are not real customer messages and this is not client data. Job types are marked against my own answer key. It was a single run. One submission (F47) failed with a credit error on the test platform and was resubmitted once.

Straight answers.

The questions owners ask first. If yours is not here, ask it on the free call.

What does it cost?

The first call and the free check cost nothing. Each service has its own price: a landing page starts at C$900, and forms and automation start at C$500. My CRM isn't for sale yet. Add-ons, like AI-drafted replies, text messaging or connecting tools you already use, are priced in your quote. Want me to keep things running after launch? The care plan starts at C$150 a month, and you can cancel any time. My first 3 clients get 30% off setup in exchange for honest feedback. You see the price in writing before anything is built.

What does the care plan cover?

Each month I check that every workflow is still running and sending, make one small change if you want one, like new wording or an extra step, and check what each outside tool is charging you. You get a short written report of what ran and what I fixed. Bigger changes are quoted separately. Cancel any time: your workflows keep running in your own accounts, and you keep the notes on how they work.

Do I need new software?

No new phone number and no new email. The workflows run alongside the tools you already use, such as Gmail, Google Sheets and your website form, and I build them with n8n, Make or Zapier. Use something else? Ask on the free call.

Why use your CRM instead of setting up an app myself?

It isn't for sale yet, and you can set one up yourself today. Some owners do. When mine is ready, I'll do the setup for you: your job stages, your services and your wording for each message. You choose which messages wait for your OK. And when something needs changing, you message a person in Edmonton, not a help centre.

Do you work with AI tools?

Yes. If you already pay for AI tools or services, like ChatGPT, I can connect them to your workflows or your CRM instead of adding new ones. AI can sort messages and draft replies, and you still approve what goes out. AI and text messaging services charge their own fees, which you pay to them directly. Your quote names each one and what information it receives.

Will it message my customers without asking me?

Only the first text: a short "sorry we missed your call" reply, so nobody waits in silence. You approve its wording before it goes live. Real replies, quote follow-ups and invoice reminders are drafted and wait for your OK, unless you choose to let a routine one, like a booking reminder, send on its own.

How is customer information handled?

Only what a workflow needs to do its job. With a workflow, your customers' information stays in your own accounts. I get only the access a build needs and never ask for your passwords. I test with made-up messages before anything touches real ones, I don't copy your customers' details into my own files, and I remove my access when the work ends. If you use the CRM, where its data is stored and who can see it is set out in writing before setup.

Who owns the setup?

You do. Workflows run in your own accounts, you get plain-language notes and a walkthrough, and you keep them if we stop working together. I stay a message away. My ready-made CRM is different: I host and look after it for a monthly fee. Your data stays yours. You can export it any time, and if we stop working together I send you a full export and delete my copy within 30 days.

How much time will I save?

It depends on how many calls, quotes and invoices you handle. We measure it in the free check and in the pilot. I don't promise hours before then.

Shale in a hard hat, ready for work.

One person. One goal.

Strauto Solutions is a one-person automation studio in Edmonton, Alberta. I'm Christer. I build landing pages, forms and automations for HVAC and other service businesses, with one goal: give owners their time back. A CRM for them is coming later.

I taught myself automation and AI tools starting in late 2025, then trained in n8n, Make and Zapier. I'm starting with a small number of pilot customers. I don't have a long client list yet, and I won't pretend otherwise. What I can show is how the work is built and tested.

What I won't do

  • Use an AI voice that pretends to be you or your staff
  • Send your customers anything in wording you haven't approved
  • Tie you into a long contract. Monthly plans run month to month
  • Pay for reviews, or ask only happy customers for one
  • Sell or share your details, or your customers'
  • Promise hours saved before we've measured them

You approve what your customers see.

About two minutes

A short form, one question at a time. I read every answer myself. It asks for:

  • Your name and the best way to reach you
  • Your business and the task you want off your plate
  • Roughly how many hours a week it takes
  • When you'd like it running
